We wanted to have a positive environmental impact that went well beyond the studio. So we have taken steps to reduce our carbon footprint with the vision of becoming a completely environmentally sustainable studio in the future.
We actively partner with businesses that are looking to do good, even at extra expense to ourselves.
✨ We do not use plastic in our cleaning products, all our containers are made from glass.
✨ We make our own cleaning liquid for the reformers.
✨ We use “Newark Eco Refill’ shop (zero waste shop) to refill our soap and all other cleaning products.
✨ The grippy socks we sell are either full organic cotton or sustainably produced bamboo.
✨ The filter we use in our water is bamboo charcoal. It retains chlorine and releases calcium, potassium and other useful minerals. It has a reduced ecological impact compared to charcoal wood as it is faster growing, stores 5 times more carbon and absorbs impurities.
✨ We use 100% sustainable wipes made from sugarcane waste product to clean our Reformers.
✨ Our sanitary pads (which you are free to use) are also made from organic cotton.
✨ And even our toilet rolls are made from unbleached bamboo!
We will always ensure you are our first priority, but if you are ever wondering about a choice, we’ve made in the studio space hopefully this sheds some light!
If we each do our little bit we have the potential to create momentous change.
Supporting the local economy is also really important for us!
✨ Most of the items we use in the studio are locally bought. Our diffuser scents and sticks, plants, cleaning products, decoration are all being bought through small local businesses!
✨ Even our Reformers are handmade from a small family company in our home place.
